VIDA, the electric mobility arm of Hero MotoCorp, has introduced the DIRT.E K3, a purpose-built electric dirt bike designed especially for children between 4 and 10 years. With this launch, VIDA steps into the off-road segment by offering young riders a two-wheeler that adjusts as they grow, making early motorcycling both approachable and safe.
Bookings and Delivery Timeline
Bookings for the DIRT.E K3 have already begun through the brand’s official website. VIDA is offering the first 300 units at an introductory price of INR 69,990, making it easier for early buyers to get their hands on the new kids’ electric dirt bike.
The model will be available in Red, Purple and White, and deliveries will start in phases from January 15, 2026. In the initial rollout, it will be sold through select outlets in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur and Calicut before reaching more locations.
A Design Built for Growing Riders
The DIRT.E K3 has been developed for young riders who are just beginning to explore off-roading. The bike’s standout idea is its size-adjustable structure, which can shift between Small, Medium and Large formats. This allows the motorcycle to grow alongside the child, reducing the common issue of kids outgrowing their bikes within a year or two.
The project was shaped by teams at Hero Tech Centre Germany and the Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur, combining international engineering expertise with Hero’s long experience in mobility solutions. Production will take place at VIDA’s eco-oriented facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, which manages the brand’s electric vehicle line.
Battery, Motor Performance and Charging
Power comes from a 350W continuous motor, which can peak at 500W when extra push is needed. VIDA has equipped the DIRT.E K3 with a 360Wh removable battery, allowing parents to charge it easily at home without additional setups. A full charge takes roughly three hours, offering up to three hours of riding time depending on the ride mode and terrain.
Convenience and safety were priorities during development. The battery uses a magnetic connector for quick alignment, and the sealed casing keeps out dust and moisture, helping the bike perform reliably across different weather conditions.

Speed Options, Tyres and Riding Hardware
To help young riders learn at a comfortable pace, VIDA offers three riding modes.
The Beginner mode limits the top speed to 8 km/h, Amateur mode increases it to 16 km/h, and Pro mode pushes it to 25 km/h for confident riders. This progression helps children build skills gradually without feeling overwhelmed.
A 16-inch spoked wheel setup, a single rear hydraulic disc brake designed to minimise front-wheel washout, and an adjustable frame that changes height and wheelbase all contribute to better stability and control. These elements make the DIRT.E K3 capable of handling uneven surfaces while keeping the rider comfortable and secure.
Final Thoughts
With the DIRT.E K3, VIDA has created a children’s dirt bike that focuses on adaptability, safety and ease of use. The adjustable frame, removable battery and rider-friendly power modes make it a thoughtful choice for parents looking for a reliable electric bike that supports their child’s learning curve. As India’s first adjustable electric dirt bike for kids, the DIRT.E K3 sets the stage for a new kind of early riding experience.
